I’ve been coloring @bampirevat line work in a couple different styles and learning more of how to accentuate certain aspects of a figure. I think I might do a dozen more over the next few weeks, I’ve been really enjoying the process.
YES, SCURVY! My newest comic, a collaborative treatise with Eriq Nelson on the history of this horrible nautical plague, is now live on Medium. I’ve been slaving over this one for a while, so it feels damn good to finally have it out in the world. Go read it, won’t you?

Come read what research hath wrought! This comic will appear in color as part of the Baggywrinkles Collection which will likely be finished February 2016. I’m so excited to see the final inks on this comic! Lucy is such a massively skilled cartoonist and incredibly rad to work with. I am utterly bowled over that she managed to stuff a history as vast and horrid as scurvy into a comic that’s not only snappy, but fun. I mean…… how do you make lesions fun? Leave it to Bellwood.
